About the Hospital

Located within sight of the nation’s Capitol, the Washington DC VA Medical Center (DCVAMC) is one of the most visible facilities within the VA health care system. The staff honors Veterans with world-class health care in an environment that fosters compassion, commitment and service at the main facility and the four community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCs) located in Southeast Washington, DC.; Charlotte Hall and Camp Springs, Md.; and Ft. Belvoir, Va. A new clinic in Montgomery County opened in September 2018.
